LBW Magazine is an independent publication made by a collective of local authors, poets, and creatives who have figured out that working on solo projects doesn’t have to mean working alone. Long Beach Writers was created as a place to house and celebrate the work of like-minded writers, where our diverse visions and backgrounds come together to create a patchwork of vibrant, boundary-pushing narratives.

That’s where Long Beach Writers got its start — a dimly lit corner of a cocktail bar and tea lounge in Long Beach. Now, our community of writers and creators have created this zine as a space for locals to gather and celebrate the work that makes the chai worth brewing. 🍵
